A Cancer Benefit is being planned, July 26, for Terry Fizer, MSG Army Retired after serving over 20 years in the military, of Georgetown, formerly of Adams County. Fizer was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in November 2013.

The event will take place at the American Legion, located 17825 Main Street and state Route 247, in Seaman, just off state Route 32.

The kitchen opens 11:30 a.m. There will be a cornhole tournament with a noon sign up and starting 1 p.m., with a “winner take half” payout. The Good Time Cloggers will entertain 2 p.m, and a quarter auction starting 3 p.m. There will be a cake auction, music, Kid’s Korner, face painting, and much more.

Proceeds will go toward medical expenses.
