Two semi-trucks were involved in a motor vehicle accident at the junction of state Route 32 and state Route 247 on Wednesday, June 18.

At 11:30 p.m., a Coca-Cola truck rear-ended a tractor semi-trailer in the west-bound lanes of the intersection, failing to assure clear distance ahead. The Coca-Cola truck was driven by Keith Warren, 41, of Minford, and the tractor semi-trailer was driven by Joseph Reed, 36, Alexandria, Ky.

The Coca-Cola truck lost its two trailers, which blocked the west-bound lanes. First responders closed portions of the intersection until the injured drivers could be transported to Adams County Regional Medical Center and the blocked lanes could be cleared.
