Teens in grades seven – 12 are invited to Teen Book Talks at the Peebles Library, 2 p.m. Tuesdays. Read a book, then join Sherry at the Peebles Library on Tuesday, July 29 to talk with other teens about your favorite reads. The book discussion will end with a pizza party on July 29.
The Picnic and Prize Drawing will conclude this year’s Summer Reading Program at the West Union Library 3 p.m. Thursday, July 24. Join on the lawn behind the library as to share picnic food, and celebrate Summer Readers’ accomplishments.
A Family Nutrition Program focusing on fruits and vegetables will be held at the Peebles Library 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 30. Marsha McCormick will talk about the many health benefits of fruits and vegetables, and share tips for getting more of them in your family’s diet. Come explore recipes, share shopping tips, and sample a frozen fruit slushie. This class is sponsored by the SNAP-Ed Program of OSU Extension of Adams County.
