More than half of indictments include meth-related charges

A Highland County grand jury on Tuesday indicted 15 individuals, and more than half of the indictments included methamphetamine-related charges like illegal assembly, illegal manufacture and possession of the drug.


Those indicted as well as the charges levied are as follows:


• Robert D. Coburn Jr., 34, of Lebanon, charged with illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, a third-degree felony, and aggravated possession of methamphetamine, a fourth-degree felony;


• Colby W. Freeman, 29, of Hillsboro, charged with second-degree felony illegal manufacture of drugs and third-degree felony illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs;


• Melvin M. McKenzie, 35, of Hillsboro, charged with aggravated possession of methamphetamine, a fifth-degree felony, and aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine, a fourth-degree felony;


• Tiffany Sue Campbell, 32, of Hillsboro, charged with aggravated possession of methamphetamine, a fifth-degree felony, and aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine, a fourth-degree felony;


• Leah K. Kline, 35, of Greenfield, charged with illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, a third-degree felony;


• Nathan S. Snodgrass, 38, of South Salem, charged with illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, a third-degree felony;


• Charles L. Howard Jr., 26, of Greenfield, charged with illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, a third-degree felony;


• Joshua A. McKenzie, 24, of Hillsboro, charged with illegal conveyance of weapons or prohibited items onto the grounds of a detention facility or institution, a third-degree felony, and aggravated possession of methamphetamine, a fifth-degree felony;


• George B. Caraway, 45, of Hillsboro, charged with fifth-degree felony possession of cocaine;


• Sheilah Flowers, 57, of Lynchburg, charged with three counts of theft by deception, one fourth- and two fifth-degree felonies;


• Michael D. Daugherty, 47, of Greenfield, charged with fifth-degree felony possession of heroin;


• Raymond L. Allen Jr., 32, of New Carlisle, charged with fifth-degree felony improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle and a forfeiture specification;


• Quintin C. Yates, 31, of Greenfield, charged with third-degree felony failure to register a change of address as a registered sex offender;


• Gregory M. Willey, 24, of Hillsboro, charged with fifth-degree felony possession of heroin;


• Donald A. Jones, 51, of Hillsboro, charged with possession of heroin and trafficking in heroin, both fifth-degree felonies.
