The fifth annual Woodworkers/Woodcarvers Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 26, in front of the historic Brown County Courthouse, located 102 South Main Street in Georgetown.
The Courthouse Square Association, Inc., sponsors this show and sale of woodcraft which highlights the works of local artisans, including Ken Liming, a teacher of wood skills at the Grant Career Center in Bethel. The Stihl chainsaw demonstration, featuring the talent of Mike Hopkins, will be a highlight of the show.
There will be an auction of examples of this craft 2 p.m, including chain saw art.
Food and drink will be available on site from Big E Barbeque, the Mannings’ ice cream wagon or local restaurants.
