123rd Annual Adams County Fair

The Adams County Fair will take place during the week of July 13-19 at the Fairgrounds.

West Union CU Church VBS

The West Union Church of Christian Union will hold the Wilderness Escape Vacation Bible School from July 21-25 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. For more information call 740-372-4111.

ACRMC Board Meeting

The regular meeting of the Adams County Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees will be held on Tuesday, July 22 at 4:30 p.m. in the conference room at 230 Medical Center Drive in Seaman.


ACOV School Board Meeting

The Adams County/Ohio Valley School Board will hold a regular meeting on Thursday, July 24 at Ohio Valley Career & Technical Center beginning at 7 p.m.


Girl Scout Sign-Ups

Adams County Girl Scouts are having a princess party! Dress up as your favorite princess while you sign up to be a Girl Scout. Friday July 25 6 - 8 p.m. at the Peebles United Methodist Church on Measley Ridge Rd. Cost is $2.00 per girl K - 5.


Indian Artifact Show

Manchester’s Indian Artifact and Antiques and Collectibles Show will be held at the River Barn on Friday, July 25 from 9.a.m to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, July 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Antiques and collectibles booths will be set up outside in the yard are. Awards will be given on Saturday.

Manchester River Days

The Manchester River Days will be held on Friday and Saturday, August 1 and 2, Manchester River Tower Park located on Front St. A queens’ pagaent and music by the Cabin Creek Boys will be on Friday. Saturday will have a fishing tournament, walk/run, baby pagaent, classic cars, antiques, and annual poker run, boat parade, and fireworks. Vendors, crafters, and food booths should call Ed Reinhardt at 937-515-1001 to set up a booth for only $20.00. Big Scioty Dulcimer Club

The Big Scioty Dulcimer Club meets every first and third Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the Prussia Valley Dulcimers Music Shop in Waverly. If you don’t play the mountain dulcimer, we can teach you. Other instruments are welcome. For more information, call (740) 941-1271.

Reformers Unanimous

Reformers Unanimous addiction recovery program meets every Friday at 7 p.m. at 106 Rice Drive in West Union (located through the front entrance of the Southern Baptist Church Building). The community is invited. No pre-screening or reservations are required, and individuals may be accompanied by a support person. Alzheimer Family Support Group

The Adams/Brown County Alzheimer Family Support Group is meeting on the second Monday of each month at the Adams County Regional Medical Center. Meetings run from 1-2:30 p.m.
