The Adams County Board of Commissioners declared Saturday, Aug. 23 would be Cowboy Copas Day in Adams County. The date, Aug. 23, fell on Saturday this year, and the Adams County Historical Society held the sixth annual Cowboy Copas Concert that evening.Hot dogs, baked goods, and drinks were on sale for refreshments as people socialized before the concert got underway. Once the crowd had satisfied its hunger, the President of the Adams County Historical Society took the stage to welcome everyone to the event.

The North Adams Fitness Trail is about to get a needed addition. Currently, the trail itself is just grass, becomes marshy after a rain, and is unlevel making it difficult to walk.
