Wreck claims life of Seaman teen; North Adams student injured

WINCHESTER TOWNSHIP - A single-car wreck on Tri-County Road Saturday evening claimed the life of a 2011 graduate of North Adams High School and injured a sophomore at the school.

Absentee ballots being mailed out
Starting Tuesday, Jan. 31, Ohio's 88 county boards of elections will begin mailing absentee ballots to voters who have already requested to vote by mail in the March 6 Primary Election, according to Ohio Secretary of State John Husted.

On the road for a Friday night battle next to the Ohio River, the North Adams Green Devils found themselves the victims of a talented squad of Ripley Blue Jays as the Jays took control of the game early and held on to their spot in first place in the Southern Hills League small school division by handing their visitors a 70-57 defeat.

After long layoff, Greyhounds have tough weekend
After being off for nearly two weeks because of cancellations and rescheduling, the Manchester Greyhounds returned to action last weekend and it was not a kind return for the Hounds. On Friday night, the Lynchburg Clay Mustangs came to town and spoiled the Manchester Homecoming by saddling the home team with a 68-61 defeat.
