Peebles junior Jerilyn Garrett is shown with her artwork that will be on display in the Ohio House of Representatives Student Art Exhibition.

As part of a yearlong celebration of the arts and art education, the Ohio House of Representatives Student Art Exhibition features exemplary visual art created by high school students from all corners of Ohio. Artwork from each of the 99 districts in the House of Representatives is featured. The exhibition recognizes the talent, creativity, and innovative visions of students who receive high quality arts instruction as a part of their academic experience.
Peebles High School junior Jerilyn Garrett, has a piece of her artwork accepted to the Ohio House of Representatives Student Art Exhibition. The contest is presented and collaborated by The Ohio House of Representatives, Ohio Arts Council, and Ohio Art Education Association.
This show is a yearlong Ohio student visual art exhibition that resides at the Vern Riffe Center for Government and the Arts in the hallway connector from the Riffe Center that leads thousands of individuals to and from the Ohio Statehouse. The exhibition will be open to the public daily during normal hours of operation.
Jerilyn is the daughter of Jerry and Kris Garrett and is currently enrolled in Art III. Her teacher is Mrs. Beth McElwee.
