A series of events has led to the resignation of Manchester boys varsity coach Joey Darnell and his assistant, JV coach McKenzie Smith. In a phone interview with The Defender, Darnell explained his version of what happened and how the possibility of a seven-game suspension mandated by the MHS administration led to he and Smith turning in their resignations.
