The final race in the outstanding high school cross-country career of Manchester senior Ethan Pennywitt came in the Division III regional meet at Pickerington on Oct. 28. Pennywitt finished 78th out of 129 runners at the regionals, putting the final touch on a career that will long be remembered in MHS cross-country history. After becoming the first Greyhound runner to ever appear in the state meet in his junior season, Pennywitt battled through numerous injury issues in his final year to eventually make it to the regional competition and will have a number of his records listed in the school’s record books.
