Charles Nelson Vance, 82 years formerly of Winchester, passed away of pneumonia on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017.

He was born in Winchester, Ohio on Jan. 19, 1935. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, brother, sisters, aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (King) Vance whom he married on Nov. 13, 1956; two daughters, Pamela Price of Oregonia and Sue Ebbing of Hamilton; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Charles served in the United States Army from Aug. 1954 to Aug. 1956. He also worked 41 years in the Bank Equipment business with Gross-Feibel Company and Hamilton Safe Company and he retired in 1997.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday Oct. 20, 2017 at the Wallace-Thompson Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home in Winchester. Burial will follow at the Cherry Fork Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of the services on Friday at the funeral home in Winchester.
