Jimmy Nelson

Jimmie Nelson age 78 years of Stout, Ohio passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth Ohio. Mr. Nelson was born on November 16, 1938 the son of the late Oscar and Alberta (Harper) Nelson in Adams County, Ohio.

Survivors include two daughters Tina Hinges of Alexandria, KY; Rhonda Applegate and Roger of West Union, OH; two sons Jamie Nelson of Bentonville, OH; David Bender and Linda of Stout, OH; two brothers Don Nelson and Janice of Wheelersburg, OH; Marion Nelson of Stout, OH; three sisters Helen Howard of Stout, OH; Linda Caraway of Lynx, OH; Virginia Spires and Ralph of Lynx, OH; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home with Greg Cooper Officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sandy Springs Cemetery with military grave side services by the Adams County Honor Guard. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. the day of the service.
