Frank “Pork” E. Swayne, 57 years, of Peebles, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017, at the Adams County Regional Medical Center.

Frank was born in West Union, Ohio, on October 18, 1959, the son of the late Frank L. Swayne and Elizabeth Kay Tolle Swayne. He served in the U.S. Navy. After his military career, Frank worked as an Emergency Medical Technician.

In addition to his mother, Kay Swayne, Frank is survived by his wife, Janet Swayne; his grandmother, Audrey Swayne; three sons, Joshua Swayne and Jason Swayne, both of Hillsboro, and Jeremiah Swayne, of Chillicothe; a daughter, Jessica Morrison, of West Union; three brothers, Donnie Swayne and Steve Swayne, of Peebles, and Terry Swayne, of Alabama; one sister, Becky Johnson, of Peebles; and eight grandchildren.

According to Frank’s wishes, he is to be cremated. A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
