Harold Dean Brown, 65 years, of Winchester, passed away on Dec. 17, 2016 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown.
He was born in Owensville, Ohio, the son of the late Bertha (Kidd) (Brown) Buchanan and Arthur Allen Brown on May 28, 1951.  In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Ann (Bradley) Brown of Winchester and his brother Norman Brown of Milford.
He is also survived by his daughter, Juanita Brown of Batavia; son Richard Brown of Winchester; one brother, Robert Brown of Williamsburg; two sisters, Lois A. Folk of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Carol Ellis of Gray Court, S.C.;  two granddaughters, Miley Brown Gumbert and Emily Brown Gumbert.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. at thr  Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester with Reverend Keith Bourne officiating. Graveside services will follow at Fincastle Cemetery.  Visitation will be the evening prior on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 5- 8 p.m., also at the Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester.
Harold Brown graduated from Clermont Northeastern High School in 1969 in Clermont County and Southern State College in Brown County.  Harold served with the Unites States Army in South Korea during the Vietnam War.  Harold worked for Dayton Power and Light at the Aberdeen Power Plant as a lab technician for over 20 years.
