The Adams County County Club was the site of a four-team girls golf match on Friday, Aug. 26 as 21 girls on the club course battled the heat in a nine-hole match.  The host West Union Lady Dragons welcomed the North Adams Lady Devils, the Peebles lady Indians, and the Eastern Brown Lady Warriors for an  all-Southern Hills Athletic League competition.

The second place team on the day was Eastern brown, led by three golfers, Cassidy Staggs with a 43, Whitney Broughton with a 45, and Payton Dorsey, who carded a 49.  Also on the course for the Lady Warriors were Caitlyn Helton (60) and Mikayla Minnix (63).
Third place on the day went to the North Adams Lady Devils, led by the nine-hole score of 45 posted by Caitlin Young.  Caley Grooms shot 53, Erin Newman 58, Brooklyn Young 63, and Lexie Bunn 64 for the Lady Devils.
