The 20th annual Marine Corps League 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Aug. 20 at the Adams County Disabled Veterans Building, located at 5437 Wheat Ridge Road in West Union.
The Run/Walk will begin at the DAV Building, then go out and back Wheat Ridge Road, and the run includes some hills. The race will start at 8:30 a.m.
There will be eight different age categories, male and female, with medals being awarded in each category. Trophies will also be given to the top three male and female runners overall.
All participants will receive a t-shirt and registration is $20.
