Al Roettele, Jr., 62 years of Peebles, passed away on Friday July 8, 2016 at his residence.
He was born in Mariemont on Aug. 21, 1953, the son of the late Alfred and Marian (Krantz) Roettele,Sr. Besides his parents he was also preceded by one brother, Ed Roettele.
Al served in the United States Marines and was in the H.O.G.
Al is survived by his wife, Denise (Swayne) Roettele, whom were married on May 19, 1979; one son, Codey (Elisha) Roettele of Hillsboro; two daughters, Coleen (Brandon) Triplett of Ironton and Cara (Donovan Penn) Roettele of McDermott; three grandchildren, Kaylin and Cole Triplett and Aubry Yochum; two brothers, three sisters, mother-in-law Shirley Swayne of Peebles and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A Memorial Service will be at 4 p.m. on Wednesday July 13, 2016 at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
