Roy R. Worley, 85 years of Peebles, passed away on Monday May 30, 2016 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center.
He was born in Raleigh County, W. Va. on April 16, 1931, the son of the late Raymond and Willa (Erie) Worley. Besides his parents he was also preceded by his daughter, Hope Hartman and brother, David Worley.
Roy served in the United States Army.
Roy is survived by his two sons, Ray Worley of Atlanta, Ga. and Greg Worley of Jacksonville, Fla; two daughters, Becky Worley of Mt. Juliet, Tenn. and Sarah (Harry) Cook of Peebles; two brothers, Eugene Worley of Florida and Ralph Worley of West Virginia; two sisters, Shirley Cloud of Florida and Joyce Hanks of Virginia; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Jacktown Cemetery.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. until the time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
