Phillip Lee Sampson, 38, of Martinsville, Ohio, formerly of Xenia died on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at home. He was born August 16, 1977 in Dayton.
He is survived by his father, Phillip Wayne Stevens of Jefferson Township in Adams County; mother, Patricia Ann (Sampson) Woods of Dayton; two brothers: Donnie and Harley Stevens, both of Dayton; three half-brothers: Terry, Justin and Bige Woods, all of Dayton; three half-sisters: Nancy Stevens of Grape Grove, Racheal Stevens of Jamestown and Tonya Stevens of Fairborn; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was a former employee of Walmart in Xenia during a summer program.
He attended Xenia High School.
Mr. Sampson will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union is serving the family.
