The Hoxworth Blood Center and the University of Cincinnati will be hosting two separate Keller’s Crusaders Blood Drives in the coming weeks.
The first drive will be held on Tuesday, March, 22, from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at West Union High School. Anyone planning to donate must first make an appointment at email@example.com.
The second drive will be held Saturday, Apr. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Adams County Public Library in Peebles. Appointments may scheduled at www. hoxworth.org/groups/Keller, or by calling 937-587-2085.
Keller Wilson is the three year old son of Jennifer Beech and Kyle Wilson, of Peebles. He is currently being treated for leukemia and preparing for a bone marrow transplant.
“We’re hoping people come out for this very worthy cause,” said Peebles librarian Sherry Thompson.
“For those who can’t donate blood, but would like to help in some way. Hoxworth is always looking for positive, energetic individuals to join their volunteer team. Whether you’re a student, a retiree or someone who just wants to give back, they always have a need for volunteers.”
