The East Tiffin Aggies 4-H club officers recently attended a two-hour officer training session on Jan. 28, conducted by retired FFA adviser Corbett Phipps.

The officers first learned leadership requirements, rewards of being a leader, reasons for using parliamentary procedure, and qualities of a good member. They also discussed in detail how to develop and follow an agenda, the importance of accurate secretary and treasurer reports and the benefits of main motions, amendments, referring to a committee, how to vote and other abilities that may be used in a meeting.
