An Adams County youth was injured in a car accident on Saturday, Nov. 28 in Brown County.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was called to the scene of the accident on St. Rt. 41 at approximately 9:55 p.m.
According to State Trooper Andrew Dunn, the driver, a minor from West Union, was traveling southbound in a 2001 Pontiac Sunfire.
At the 3 mile post marker near Aberdeen, the driver failed to make a curve, causing the vehicle to travel off the right side of the roadway. The car rolled multiple times before coming to rest on its right side.
Emergency responders transported the driver to the Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Ky.
No alcohol or drugs were involved and road and weather conditions were not a factor in the accident.
