The Adams County Medical Foundation recently awarded a $1,000 college scholarship to Courtney Cummings.

Courtney is attending Wright State University with a major in Psychology and concentration in Neurology. After graduating from Wright State, she plans on attending Shawnee State University to earn a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. Her plan is to pursue a career as an Occupational Therapist in order to one day have own practice, hopefully here in Adams County. Courtney has volunteered many hours at the hospital during health fairs and other hospital community events since she was fourteen years old. It is our pleasure to see her pursue a career in health care.

The Foundation awards an annual scholarship to individuals planning a career in health care. The Adams County Medical Foundation is a non-profit 501c3 charity organization. For more information about the Foundation, contact Sherry Stout at 937-386-3701. The Foundation can also be reached by mail at 230 Medical Center Drive, Seaman, OH 45679.
