Historical Society again hosts Cowboy Copas Concert

Once again the Adams County Historical Society has honored Lloyd Estel Cowboy Copas with a Memorial Concert. This year the concert was held at the Community Center in Blue Creek, near Moon Hollow, the birthplace of Cowboy Copas.

Performers included the Randy Copas Band and Rosie Young and Katie Grace Jonas and her father. The highlight of the evening was Kathy C. Hughes, daughter of Cowboy Copas and the John Simon Band. They sang several of the songs that made Cowboy Copas famous, including “Alabam,” “Tennessee Waltz,” and her favorite “Signed, Sealed and Delivered.”
