The All Creatures Animal Hospital is sponsoring a Pet Health Day in West Union on Sunday, Aug. 16 from 1-4 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Church located at 612 East Mulberry St.

Pet Health Day is an opportunity for community residents who may not be able to have their dog or cat examined and vaccinated, according to a press release.

The event will offer discounted medications for animals, usually $5 per medication. Heartworm prevention and flea medications available at wholesale cost.

There is a limit of four pets per owner and while the event says to come between 1-3 p.m., it also says it’s best if not everyone shows up at 1 p.m. Wait times are to be expected and patients will be seen on a first come first serve basis but all animals will be seen according to the press release.

Vaccinations will also be $5 each and low cost spay/neuter services will be available at a seperate time.

Parasite examination is also available for $5. You are asked to bring a stool sample is possible.
