General Electric Aviation employees donated $10,000 to the Interfaith House on May 29, 2015. The employees have a strong commitment to help the local community and this is one way to give back and improve lives. The Interfaith House is a food pantry that serves 300 to 400 families a month for those that reside in Adams County and are in need of assistance.

Throughout the year, there are multiple events held to raise money in order to fund the food pantry. These events include the Hunger Walk in Cincinnati, quarterly raffles, and an online donation website https://www.facebook.com/interfaithhouseohio/app_117708921611213.

If you’re an Amazon shopper, you can select your favorite charitable organization “Interfaith House” and they will donate 0.5% towards this cause at www.smile.amazon.com. Every little bit helps in supporting the pantry.

The volunteers currently operate out of an old house located in West Union. The goal is to build a new facility where they can house and distribute the produce.
