Lady Devils hold annual camp

Pictured here are the kindergarten through fourth grade girls who participated in the 2015 North Adams Lady Devils Basketball Camp. Also pictured are the high school girls players who assisted along with the Lady Devils coaching staff.

These young ladies, grades five through eight, were part of the three-day North Adams Lady Devils Basketball Camp that was held at NAHS from May 26-28.

It was girls basketball camp time again at North Adams High School from May 26-28 as Lady Devils’ varsity coach Rob Davis and his staff welcomed 52 young campers to the high school gymnasium for three days of fun and basketball instruction. The camp ran from 5-8 p.m. each of the three nights and involved young ladies from kindergarten through eighth grade. Kindergarten and first graders had two days of camp, just right for their attention span, while the rest of the girls participated all three evenings.

No basketball camp can be run efficiently without the invaluable assistance of the school’s varsity and JV players and as usual, Coach Davis had a full supply of help at his disposal, besides Assistant Coaches Tony Williams, Shannon Staggs, and Taylor Jodrey. The following high school Lady Devils were on hand to lend their help to the young campers: Brooklyn Young, Avery Harper, Charlee Louden, Lakyn Hupp, Adison Wright, Taylor Hesler, McKayla Raines, Josie McDowell, Grace McDowell, Christin Young, Caitlin Young, Maddie Toole, Madison Jenkins, Abbi Stacy, Allison Harper, and Brooklyn Stout.
