The Fantastic 4-H’ers May meetings and activities

The Fantastic 4H Club meeting was held May 3 at Adams County Fairgrounds, in West Union. Pledges were led by new members Alexis Barr, Mike Teyber, Alyssa Hayslip, Lillie Kabler, Kyle Buckamneer and Jacob Snider.

Members present were Alexis Barr, Michael Teyber, Lillie Kabler, Kyle Buckamneer, Jacob Snider, Skilar Coffman, Chris Fox, Jacob Fox, Maria Fox, Alyssa Hayslip, Ashley Hayslip,Eric Holbrook, Joseph Kimmerly, Samuel M Kimmerly, Jacob Miley, Krisheana Pitre, Karrie Streber, and Alizabeth Snider. Advisors present: Michele Holbrook, Sharon Miley, Brian Miley and Linda Kimmerly. Members Jacob Fox, Alyssa Hayslip, Jacob Snider and Alizabeth Snider have met their six meeting requirement at this meeting.

Items discussed was T-shirt orders, and Community Service “Rest For The Weary” bench building for the Adams County Fairgrounds. Karrie Streber gave a Health Report on Water Intake.

Members: Chris Fox, Jacob Fox, Maria Fox, Alyssa Hayslip, Ashley Hayslip, Eric Holbrook, Joseph Kimmerly, Samuel M Kimmerly, Jacob Miley, Alizabeth Snider, Jacob Snider, and Michael Teyber tagged in their market goats.

Feeder Calf Tag in May 9, Adams County Fairgrounds. Members Krisheana Pitre, Joseph Kimmerly and Samuel M Kimmerly tagged in their feeder calves.

Horse Check-In, Adams County Fairgrounds. Members Karrie Streber, Maria Fox and Jacob Fox registered, and checked in their Horses.

Informal Meeting/covered dish/cook out was held May 17 at the Kimmerly Residence on Brewer Road. Members present: Kyle Buckamneer, Skilar Coffman, Chris Fox, Jacob Fox, Maria Fox, Alyssa Hayslip, Ahsley Hayslip, Eric Holbrook, Lillie Kabler, Joseph Kimmerly, Samuel M Kimmerly, Jacob Miley, Krisheana Pitre, Alizabeth Snider, and Karrie Streber. Advisors present included Brian Miley, Sharon Miley, Michele Holbrook, Samuel Kimmerly Jr. and Linda Kimmerly.

Member Karrie Streber met her sixth meeting requirement at this meeting. Each Member chose their own colors for their t-shirts. Members decided to do an Educational Display at the fair. Benches were built and one coat of paint was applied to the benches. Samuel M. Kimmerly did his project related demonstration on First Aid in Action. Joseph Kimmerly did his project related demonstration on the benches he was building for project “My Hands To Larger Service”

A meeting was held May 31, at the Adams County Fairgrounds. T-shirt money was collected. Members discussed a Beautification project at the Fairgrounds. Maria Fox is entering the Queens contest. New members brought their goats to the meeting and a mock show was held for practice. Members Kyle Buckamneer and Michael Teyber met their six meeting requirement at this meeting. Members present were:Kyle Buckamneer, Maria Fox, Alyssa Hayslip, Ashley Hayslip, Eric Holbrook, Lillie Kabler, Alizabeth Snider, Jacob Snider and Michael Teyber. Advisor present Michele Holbrook.
